Through sustainable hardware design, Verifone devices are engineered for durability and repairability, with energy-efficient design. On select devices, user-replaceable batteries extend service life, and sustainable packaging for electronics removes single-use plastics and prioritizes recyclable materials. Products are designed for disassembly to support efficient materials recovery.
Returned devices are entered into payment terminal recycling programs. Verifone designs for disassembly and utilize secure hardware destruction, recovering valuable materials, supporting a circular economy in payment devices and promoting responsible electronics disposal.
Verifone suppliers and manufacturing providers are expected to meet ISO 9001/14001/50001, comply with RoHS and REACH, align with the RBA Code of Conduct, and support WEEE end-of-life requirements (where applicable).
