Get more from the devices already on the counter

Payment terminals have the processing power to do far more than accept payments. VHQ Marketplace gives you a governed way to extend what they can do with applications that bring new services directly to the device.

Built your ecosystem with developers you choose. Give merchants access to the applications relevant to their business. And manage how those apps reach the estate without introducing s separate distribution process.

More services for merchants. More value from every device.

Build your ecosystem without giving up control

‍

Open app stores bring choice but no governance. Manual distribution brings control but no scale. VQ Next Gen Marketplace gives you both.

  • Build your ecosystem: Bring together applications from developers you choose, from loyalty and EPOS to scheduling, digital receipts, and more.
  • Control distribution: Decide which applications reach which merchants, devices, groups, or organizational units, and revoke access centrally when needed.
  • Govern every application: Automatically scan applications against security thresholds, review the results, and sign approved apps with your own credentials before they can run.

Bring more to every payment terminal

Extend what your payment devices can do while keeping application distribution under your control.

From developer to device — governed every step of the way

‍

Step 1

A developer submits

An invited developer submits an app through the Marketplace portal.

Step 2

Marketplace scans

Every app is automatically tested for malware, known vulnerabilities, and other security risks before it can reach the next stage.

Step 3

You review and approve

Review the scan results and sign approved applications with your own credentials.

Step 4

You choose where it goes

Make the application available to the merchants, devices, groups, or organizations units you select.

Step 5

The merchant installs

Available applications can be installed from the Marketplace on the terminal, with downloads verified before installation.

Turn your payment estate into a platform for more

As your merchant needs evolve, the terminal can evolve with them. VHQ Marketplace creates a new way to bring new services to the estate without adding a separate device or distribution process for every new application.

Expand

Expand merchant services

Bring more capabilities to the payment terminal, from loyalty and EPOS to operational and customer-facing applications.

Get more

Get more from existing hardware

Extend the role of the devices already deployed across your merchant estate.

Build

Build the ecosystem you want

The app is flagged and can't be released until the issue is fixed. The developer resubmits, and the new version goes through the same scan.
