About the role

You will be a results-driven self-starter, with significant experience in the end to end sales cycle. Your role will primarily focus on developing new name business, selling payment solutions to meet customer demands, be it in-store, online or in-app, to name but a few. Your experience in new business will mean you are highly skilled at opportunity qualification, negotiation and close of mutually beneficial solutions.  Its imperative that you are able to articulate the benefits of our solutions to our customers to the highest degree, all whilst ensuring internal stakeholders are engaged where relevant, along with continuous maintenance of internal CRM systems. This role is all about boosting revenue growth and profitability for the company via new name customer acquisition, focussing primarily on medium to large retailers and strategic partners.

What you'll do

  • You will engage with medium to large retailers, qualifying and promoting Verifone’s range of solutions.
  • Extensive follow-up and customer contacting via calls and site visits
  • Proposal creation and contract negotiation
  • Preparation of accurate forecasting
  • Appropriate utilisation of salesforce
  • Effective handling of customers’ queries and requests
  • Promotion of Verifone during exhibitions

What qualifications/experience will you need to be successful? 

  • GCSE / A Level or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the payment industry, preferably gateway and e-commerce
  • Experience in business development
