What you’ll do

  • Looking for a results-driven individual to actively sell our portfolio of eCommerce and payment solutions in a highly exciting and fast-growing environment
  • Responsible for managing the entire sales cycle and selling products to enterprise clients in the software and online services space
  • Liaise with clients via phone, in-person and at various trade shows
  • Demonstrate industry knowledge of e-Commerce sales and software distribution within the internet and payments sector through development of sales projections and strategic targeted sales plans
  • Qualified candidates will have experience with payments, eCommerce, or other relevant technology services


Key responsibilities

  • Prospect, close and manage new online and payment solutions business
  • Apply a consultative problem-solving approach to understand client requirements
  • Work with internal departments to formulate the right solution for client’s needs
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
  • Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
  • Manage internal and external project resources to ensure the right solution is defined and implemented for the ongoing success and satisfaction of the client
  • Remain in frequent contact with clients and deliver ongoing revenue growth


What qualifications will you need to be successful?

  • Experience selling eCommerce, subscription billing or payments solutions is desirable, other relevant technology products may be useful
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent and relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated success as a sales hunter with verifiable quota attainment
  • Background in a technical sale role a plus
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, precall planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • In-depth understanding of software industry
  • Ability to travel
  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in using Salesforce and Microsoft office tools, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ambition and drive to succeed
