What you'll do

Manage inside/contract renewal sales representatives who are responsible for closing service sales transactions over the phone.

Administers/designs the inside/contract renewal representatives’ sales incentive plan.

Trains, mentors, coaches, and supervises inside/contract renewal staff.

Has thorough knowledge of the organization’s products/services.

Prioritizes and allocates resources.

Typically works with the field sales organization to ensure that representatives are provided adequate support in the field.

May work with inside/contract renewal sales representatives to develop channel partnerships.

Responsible for market development, setting targets, and ensuring that revenue is generated.

Communicate corporate direction and objectives to staff.

Define staffing levels and identify talented candidates for potential hire.

Manage performance through setting objectives, providing performance feedback/coaching and evaluation.

Motivate employees to over-achieve and correct performance problems.

Develop staff skills and abilities to meet business needs.

Actively support company programs and ensure adherence to company rules and procedures.

Administer compensation actions within company guidelines.

Typically reports to Sales Director and will have individual contributor level (or lead) employees as direct reports.

 

What qualifications will you need to be successful?

 

7 years product sales experience, 2 years Sales/Marketing Rep experience required


Master's degree preferred


Industry and product knowledge preferred

 

Skills/Abilities:  

Strategic Planning Skills  

Strategic and Conceptual Sales training skills  

Strong presentation/communication skills  

Sales management  

Negotiation skills  

Ability to effectively use Microsoft office suite, automated sales tools, remote dial-up.  

Language requirements to be defined by region.
