PCI PED 3.0 Approved
The PCI PTS 3.0 is the latest version of the PIN Transaction (PTS) security requirements. After 3 years of planning the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) release version 3.0 on May 12, 2010. PCI PTS 3.0 strengthens existing requirements to increase security, and expands the scope of the program by adding three new modules for open protocols, integration and secure reading and exchange of data.
