During equipment deployment VeriFone "personalizes" a merchant’s payment solution with a combination of generic application downloads, secure PIN pad key injection, merchant specific data setup and collateral materials (such as overlay or quick reference guides).
In a typical deployment, each unit order is single boxed and shipped directly to the merchant with the appropriate tracking information.
