Buyer Protection Plan

VeriFone's Buyer Protection Plan is a unique program in the POS payment industry that provides coverage for all repairs of VeriFone equipment irrespective of the cause of damage.

This program covers all repairs, including out-of-scope damage due to accidents or acts of nature. With this program the customer knows the total operational cost of his equipment for the term of use, exclusive of processor fees or consumables such as printer paper and ink ribbons.

With our Buyer Protection Plan broken equipment is repaired, cleaned, tested and shipped within an average of five business days. Customers can purchase the Buyer Protection Plan for up to five years from the date of purchase.

The Gold Extended Warranty program (U.S. only) builds on an Extended Warranty, to provide coverage for ALL equipment failures, including Out-of-Scope (OOS) failures -- those that result from abuse or acts of nature. This is a comprehensive "no-fault-and-no-excuses" warranty.

Extended Warranty Programs at a Glance:

  • Available for the entire line of VeriFone equipment
  • All repairs are performed at VeriFone Service Center (featuring genuine VeriFone parts)
  • A Buyer Protection Plan is available to cover Out-of-Scope (OOS) repairs
  • All out-of-warranty repairs warranteed for one year, except for End of Life products.
