The Sales Representatives will be responsible for selling company products, solutions and services through indirect sales channels, distributors, processors etc. or directly into assigned accounts at the corporate or government agency level. Represents the company in all sales-oriented activities in assigned accounts.

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue and gross margin quotas.
  • Submit accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Utilize approved sales processes and tools.
  • Analyze customer requirements and promote VeriFone products, solutions and services to fill such requirements.
  • Foster open and clear communications between other business and functional groups to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work with internal VeriFone resources to co-ordinate activities that support sales and resolve customer issues.
  • Share competitive intelligence with the appropriate internal contacts.
  • Interface effectively with any level in customer organization.
  • Work on accounts of greater dollar and/or strategic (long-term) value.
  • Typically sells integrated solutions and directs or co-ordinates supporting activities.
  • Prepare price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, service obligations, etc. subject to approval.
  • Implement programs to drive demand generation.
  • Assists management in devising sales plans and strategies.
  • Significant travel required.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • 1 – 2 years product sales experience for junior level; at least 5 years solution sales experience for senior level.
  • Bachelor's level degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Industry and product knowledge preferred.
  • Able to manage accounts of significant size and complexity.
  • Planning and organizing skill.
  • Strong presentation/communication skills.
  • Sales ability.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Teamwork.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft office suite, automated sales tools, remote dial-up.
  • Typically assigned to ISO/Merchant and Tier II distributors or smaller account.
  • Language requirements to be defined by region.
  • Leadership skill for senior level.
  • Strategic and Conceptual Sales training skills for senior level.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
