Key Roles and Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to the SQA delivery team based out of Bangalore.
Interact with Managers/Peers in US and fully understand the project objectives.
Take ownership of specific SQA deliverables – provide estimate & develop Project plans in alignment with business priorities of the organization.
Allocate tasks to team members in line with the project plan and ensure optimal resource utilization. Monitor the progress.
Motivate & Groom team members; lead by example.
Maintain excellent communication and relationship with various stake holders of the project.
Fully understand business implications of ongoing projects and take pro-active steps to ensure business objectives are not affected due to project challenges.
Generate comprehensive test plans and script executing detailed and complex test cases, perform actual testing and Debug and/or troubleshoot defects and/or errors.
Provide detailed test reports and metrics in software and/or hardware POS platforms.
Accountable for deadlines.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
6 – 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience in payments / POS solutions.
Experience in embedded platform.
Working knowledge of "C" Code and ability to understand "C" code.
Excellent knowledge of QA practices and Software Engineering Processes.
Good knowledge in basic UNIX commands and any scripting language.
Software industry experience preferably in a POS, integrated, or embedded systems environment. Must have spent a minimum of two years as SQA Team Lead/Project Lead.
Ability to Debug and/or troubleshoot defects and/or errors.
Ability to understand complex software modules/system and excellent communication skills – ability to work in cross cultural environment.
