The program manager will be responsible for system engineering program management activities pertaining to emerging technology product development for future payment terminals and solutions.

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing programs involving cross-functional teams focusing on launching new products and services.
  • Lead a cross-functional team from product marketing, engineering, customer support, QA and operations, to oversee design, development, testing, manufacturing to productions throughout the product development life-cycle.
  • Identify issues/conflicts/bottlenecks, provide management escalation, project prioritization, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and drive the projects to final milestone, with focusing on delivery of quality products on time within budget.
  • Create project plan, coordinate and track project activities to achieve program goals.
  • Responsible to cost, schedule, risk management and product performance.
  • Provide program status reports to senior management, with budget, resources, financial and schedule.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • BA/BS or higher degree in related field, with engineering or computer science is desired; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years experience in engineering program, or project management in hardware/software/system development.
  • Significant experience in delivering embedded systems, consumer electronics products, smart-phones, or wireless communications/technology products to market.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams to deliver system (hardware & software) focused projects.
  • Strong knowledge in product development processes, project performance metrics and boundary conditions.
  • Vendor and technology partner management experience is a plus.
  • Functional management experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, with international project management experience, managing multiple time zones and team cultures.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills; excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to motivate and influence the others to drive a decision in a matrix environment both internally and externally.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to make decision when needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly flexible with can-do attitude.
