IT Operations Support Analyst – Location: India

The candidate will provide Desktop support for the corporate office with approximately 150 computer users in a networked computing environment. The Site Support is responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, operating systems, network configurations, software and IP Telephony. Additionally, the candidate will liaise with helpdesk for escalation issues. The Site Support will report directly to the ASPAC IT Manager.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
  • Resolving end user application problems.
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or its equivalent.
  • 5 - 7 years' working experience in system support engineering is preferred.
  • Good understanding of TCP / IP networking.
  • Familiar with MS Office especially Outlook Client.
  • Able to handle and isolate virus issues.
  • Able to liaise with vendors for IT related matters.
  • Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with colleagues and peers.
  • Able to provide after office hours and or weekends supports on systems when necessary.
  • Able to work as a team member as well as independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good communication, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
