Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (i.e., dept/peer review). Designs and implements complex circuits and systems as complete products or components of other products. Supervises the work of one or more individuals. Accountable for meeting individual's own objectives and may be accountable for the work of others. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Designs and implements complex circuits and systems as complete products or components of other products. Supervises the work of one or more individuals. Accountable for meeting individual's own objectives and may be accountable for the work of others.

• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
• Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
• Works with vendors, suppliers. May work with contract manufacturers for design input or problem resolution.
• Works with immediate team members as well as other functional groups within VFI including manufacturing engineers
• Controls or influences the work of many other team members and is accountable for meeting objectives.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or appropriate field with relevant experience, or demonstrated competency as an Engineer.
• Typically requires a minimum of 4 to 8 years of related experience.
