Designs, develops, modifies, debugs, and evaluates business application programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing, and marketing. Understands the theory and procedures for a given business function, analyzes user requirements, problem areas, or proposed improvements to current systems. Coordinates the business programming activity and user implementation activities to accomplish the IT systems plans and corporate objectives.

Essential duties and responsibilities Business Systems Analyst:
  • Evaluates and analyzes user requirements for new or modified information systems and determines feasibility, cost, and time required, and compatibility with current systems.
  • Consults with user to clarify program objectives and current operating procedures.
  • Prepares system proposal, obtains user acceptance, develops system and identifies programs to be created or modified and coordinates smooth implementation into production.
  • Obtains user acceptance of proposed solution.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • ME/M.Tech/BE/B.Tech/MCA
  • 4 – 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Good communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Good project leadership skills.
