Sales Representative – Location: Singapore

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Represent VeriFone in a professional and uniform image to all of our partners and their customers.
  • Has relationship responsibility for all VIP (VeriFone International Partner's) and ASP (Authorized Service Provider) in the region.
  • Ensure that partners achieve their stated goals and commitments. Ensures they are fully conversant in the products and services that VeriFone puts into place including new products and legacy products. Makes recommendations on the various goals that each partner establishes and then monitors their success against stated goals.
  • Works closely with the partners to ensure they are educated and informed of the latest revisions to hardware and software related changes and revisions. Meets frequently with the senior executives of the VIP's to ensure the lines of communication are open and two-way.
  • Participates in planning specific promotional/marketing efforts to ensure that VeriFone's products and services are positioned correctly against the competition. These will include interfacing with the Asia Regional Marketing Manager for assistance with lab showings, seminars and similar activities.
  • Ensures Business development in terms of exploring new applications for VeriFone's existing products and potential application of emerging technologies in the Market.
  • Reporting regularly to your supervisor on the achievement of stated goals and any changes/updates to these goals.
Job Requirements

Senior Electrical Engineer

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Work on electrical design-related issues
  • Create robust electrical design and related documentation for embedded systems per project milestones.
  • Qualify/validate electrical designs by conducting design reviews and system environmental testing with internal and external engineering and VeriFone quality specialist.
  • Conform to VeriFone's hardware quality specification and requirements.
  • Provide electrical design consultancy.
  • Participate in competitive analysis, e.g. cost/feature benchmarking, design evaluation and critique, etc.
  • Responsible on recording expenses relate to employees such as: traveling abroad expenses, local expenses' reports; IC reconciliation, invoices from Israel suppliers etc.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • BS or MS degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years related engineering experience.
  • Demonstrate competence in all phases of product development life cycle.
  • Experience working in a distributed engineering group, working with in-house and external staff and outsource model.
  • Selection of electrical components.
  • Circuitry design.
  • DFX (design for testability) and DFM (design for manufacturability).
  • Design review.
  • Environmental test standards (i.e. ESD, EMC, EFT, Thermal test etc), process and criteria pertaining to electrical design.
  • Regulatory certification test standard, process and criteria pertaining to electrical design.

Electrical Engineer

Sr. Hardware Design Engineer

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
  • Determines design approaches and parameters.
  • Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results contributes to development schedule planning.
  • Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
  • May also review vendor capability to support product development.
  • RF experience is a plus.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor Degree, major in EE.

Oracle Developers

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Work with users and track leads to resolve issues related to transformation of functional and technical specifications into the development of working code for required data conversion entities, interfaces and customizations
  • Develop and unit test required enhancements to Oracle 11i
  • Develop and unit test required interfaces to/from Oracle 11i
  • Develop and unit test required data conversion programs to Oracle 11i
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Application Development particularly with Oracle development tools (Developer 6i/2000) and PL/SQL in a Unix environment
  • Minimum of 5 years development and support experience in Oracle Applications ( 11i)
  • Complete understanding of the development requirements and standards of Oracle 11i technical stack including Application Object Library (AOL), Foundation, data model and multi-org structure.
  • Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL knowledge in a 8i/9i/10g database.
  • Strong Oracle Forms 6i (or above) knowledge and Oracle Form Builder.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Applications 11i eBusiness Suite 11.5.9+
  • Familiar with application setups necessary for forms, reports, workflows, etc. Knowledge of flex fields, value sets, concurrent processing, etc is essential as well.
  • Comfortable discussing tables, interfaces, setups, and APIs relating to a minimum of 4 of the following modules:
