Stops Line-Tapping Fraud

To counter the threat of illegal line-tapping, VeriFone offers sophisticated encryption capabilities for POS transaction traffic. VeriFone's EFTSec Server solution allows all or a portion of transaction data passed between a POS terminal and an access network to be encrypted so it is secure from any commercially-viable attack. The EFTSec Server is a "plug-in" to the existing network infrastructure, so it does not disrupt current network traffic, making implementation seamless.
